Clarisse Tuazon graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with her Bachelors in Community Health with a concentration in Human Occupations. She attended graduate school at Florida International University where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2012.She has had experiences in various fields in Occupational therapy, but the geriatric population holds a special space in her heart. Her areas of interest are functional cognitive rehabilitation and values a holistic comprehensive rehabilitation approach. Her practice is centered on facilitating clients to set and achieve their own goals to safely return to the client’s activities of interest. She also enjoys sharing her knowledge of how occupational therapy can improve the lives of individuals impacted by cognitive loss.
